On May 31, the School of International Education organized representatives of foreign students to participate in the "foreigners in Huai'an" ---"seeing Huai'an through images" activity organized by Huai'an People's Association for Friendship with Foreign Countries, to experience the great achievements of Huai'an's economy and society, especially in the past 10 years, and to personally experience the great vitality of Huai'an's economic development.
On the day of the event, representatives of our foreign students, together with experts from the municipal photographers' Association, other expatriates working and studying in Huai'an, and relevant staff of the Municipal Foreign Affairs Office went to Hongze Lake Causeway, jiangba, Baima Lake and other natural scenic spots to experience the beauty of world cultural heritage, natural scenery and the unique charm of Huai'an water. The foreign students also watched the short film at the 4D cinema of "Oriental dawn" in Fangte paradise to learn about the earth-shaking changes and great progress that have taken place since the founding of new China. The foreign students recorded the modern civilization in the ancient charm of Huai'an with their own lens, and took photos to participate in the "foreigners in Huai'an" photography competition.
The theme of this activity is "viewing Huai'an through images". Through social practice and experience activities, foreign students' understanding of the society, economy and culture of Huai'an has been enhanced, and cross-cultural exchanges have been promoted, so that they can better grow into ambassadors of international cultural exchanges while learning professional knowledge.
